WE’RE LOOKING FOR A NEW BURKS BROADCASTING KARAOKE IDOL.   CONTESTANTS WILL BE SELECTED IN PRELIMINARY TRY-OUTS HELD AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL WEEKS.   UPCOMING AUDITION SITES: Shenanigans Bar and Grill Wednesday, August 20 (7pm-10pm) Phebus Lane in Union City ON THE ROCKS Friday, August 22 (8pm-11pm) 1975 Brewer Road in Dyersburg Dyersburg Mall Saturday, August 30 (11am-2pm) The Top 20 performers from the Auditions will advance to the Grand Finale at the First Citizens Amphitheatre at the Dyer County Fairgrounds on September 2 with $2,000 in prize money on the line.  The Burks Broadcasting Karaoke Idol is sponsored by Pepsi.
